Announcing Little Blackhawks Program: Inspiring Youth Hockey with RRHC, ImOn Ice Arena, and Chicago Blackhawks

We are thrilled to announce the launch of the Little Blackhawks program, a collaborative effort between Youth RoughRiders Hockey Club (RRHC), ImOn Ice Arena, and the Chicago Blackhawks. This initiative aims to revolutionize youth hockey programs, setting a new gold standard while fostering a love for the game among young players and families.

Developed in consultation with experts from USA Hockey and Hockey Canada, the Learn to Play initiative is designed to provide children aged 4-9 with a comprehensive introduction to hockey. Our goal is to inspire more families to join the hockey community by offering first-time participants a unique experience that combines age-appropriate instruction, certified coaching led by NHL Alumni, and a fun, safe environment.

Please note that the Little Blackhawks program is exclusively for first-time participants. If you have previously enrolled in Little Blackhawks or are already part of a hockey team, we encourage you to explore other opportunities available to you.

For those interested in registering for a session this Winter/Spring, we highly recommend completing a Learn to Skate program beforehand. These programs can be conveniently accessed at your local rink or through your designated Little Blackhawks host location.

Here’s what you can expect from the Little Blackhawks program:

  • Six to eight weeks of lessons at a local ice rink, led by experienced staff and local coaches.
  • A full set of brand-new, head-to-toe equipment for each participant.
  • Special appearances by Chicago Blackhawks Alumni.
  • One ticket to a Chicago Blackhawks home game during the 2024-2025 season.

Registration fees cover all aspects of the program, ensuring that participants have access to quality instruction and equipment.

Join us in shaping the future of youth hockey and creating lasting memories on the ice. To register or learn more about the Little Blackhawks program, please visit our link below or contact:
