Hello RoughRiders Family,
We are proud to announce the January-February session of RYHL & IP details are released. The Instructional Program of RRHC is designed to develop skills for all players looking to improve their game play ability. This could be the first time player, or the player that has been skating for years. Improving on, and continuing to work on the basics are a recipe for success long-term in the game of hockey. IP provides just that, an environment where your player can and will get better each time they step on the ice with RRHC.
RoughRiders Youth Hockey League (RYHL) is a program based on getting our players out and just playing the game in a smaller area. This forces the players to make quicker decisions and react faster, thus improving their ability to make more plays long-term as they get older. The structure of 3v3 or 4v4 cross-ice also increases the number of times your player gets to play with the puck on their stick. RYHL is a great opportunity for your player to improve their skills while increasing their confidence with the puck on their stick!
Instructional Program (IP)
Practices will consist of FUNdementals such as skating, pucks skills, and a healthy dose of small area games that incorporate hockey concepts.
RoughRiders Hockey Club Cedar Rapids is proud to announce the next session of the 8U -14U Instructional Program for January-February! Registration is limited to the first 50 8U-14U players.

“Cedar Rapids IP is the reason why our kids have made vast improvements in the game. The skill based work is so appreciated by our kids and our family. Dustin and his group are doing great things to develop well rounded hockey players. The IP program is some of the best group skill sessions my kids have ever attended and they have been to a lot!”
“Having the option of playing and paying 2 months at a time for the IP is super beneficial for our household as we cannot always commit or participate in a full season. The cost also is very effective for what they are getting out of the program. Coaching is top notch. While there are some parent coaches, coaches have a clear knowledge of the game and are there for all kids. The ADM station model is fantastic because as a family we are more worried about our children improving their skills than scrimmaging for multiple practices in a row. Also, having coaches wear the same warm-up is a game-changer. It just makes the whole program as a whole look that much more professional.”
