The RoughRiders Hockey Club Instructional Program is designed to cater to players who are still in the learning phase and may not be inclined towards travel hockey. Spanning 6-8 week increments, this program offers age-appropriate training sessions aimed at fundamental development. Emphasizing skill enhancement and hockey basics, the program ensures that participants have a solid foundation in the sport. Moreover, the sessions are structured to be engaging and enjoyable, placing a premium on fun-filled activities that keep players motivated and enthusiastic about their progress. Whether it’s mastering skating techniques or refining stickhandling skills, the Instructional Program strives to make every session both educational and entertaining, fostering a love for the game among its participants.

The RoughRiders Youth Hockey League provides the opportunity for our players to go out and play. To play and compete against other players. RYHL will be played 3v3 or 4v4 cross-ice to maximize the number of puck touches and play making in a small area. The game of hockey is a series of small decisions and RYHL is a great place to build that.

USA Hockey & Affiliation

All players must have a current 2024-2025 USA Hockey confirmation number and must not be currently rostered with any USAH affiliated teams. There is a fee for the USA Hockey Insurance.

RRHC has a robust gear rental program that provides you and your player to get outfitted with gear for the low cost of FREE! The only stipulation is that when your player has outgrown or moves on that the gear is returned to RRHC!
